Subscription Diet
A calm place to see what your subscriptions really cost — and to cut the ones you don't use.
What it is
Small monthly charges hide big yearly numbers. Subscription Diet puts every subscription in one wallet, turns each into what it costs a year, reminds you before renewals and free trials, and keeps a running total of what your cuts give back.
What it stands for
Private by design
Your subscriptions never leave this device. There's no account to create and no server that holds a copy.
No bank login
You add what you pay for yourself. Nothing reads your bank, your cards or your email.
Nothing hidden
Every number has a published formula — the Guide shows exactly how yearly costs, savings and renewals are worked out.
You decide
It never cancels anything for you. It shows what's worth cutting and links to the provider so you stay in control.
Who made it
Mehboob Shaikh, a lead full-stack engineer in Mumbai, built Subscription Diet as a personal, non-commercial project — free, with no ads and no sign-up. More of his work is at mehboobshaikh.com, and he's on LinkedIn and GitHub.
Questions
What is Subscription Diet?
A private subscription tracker. Add what you pay for, see what it all costs in a year, decide what to keep or cut, and get calendar reminders before every renewal or free trial ends.
Is it free?
Yes. It's a personal, non-commercial project by Mehboob Shaikh, with no ads, no sign-up and no tracking.
Do I need to connect my bank?
No, and you can't. You add subscriptions yourself, from a catalog of 250+ services with their real logos and typical prices, or by hand. Nothing is read from your bank or email.
Where is my data stored?
Only in your browser, on this device. There's no account and no server copy. Back it up from You → Your data as a file you keep, and restore it anywhere.
How do renewal reminders work?
Subscription Diet adds events to your own calendar — two days before a renewal, the day before a trial turns paid — and each one links straight back to that subscription so you can decide in one tap.
Does it cancel subscriptions for me?
No. It tells you what's worth cutting and links to each service's own account page; you cancel there, so nothing ever acts on your accounts.
